Conservative Essex County Council Candidate for Canvey Island East

I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Canvey Island. This gives me a real stake in our community and a personal understanding of the issues that affect residents every day — from roads and traffic to housing and local services.

I'm standing for the Conservative Party because I believe in strong local representation, sensible financial management, and practical solutions that put communities first. I want to see Canvey Island thrive, with safer roads, a thriving high street, better infrastructure, and opportunities for families and young people.

I trained as a football referee so I could stay involved in the game. Through this, I’ve met many great people across our community and played a small part in helping others enjoy the sport. It reflects who I am — someone who gets involved, gives back, and supports others.

The values of responsibility, fairness, and hard work resonate with me, and I want to bring that same focus to serving our community as your councillor.

For over a decade, Canvey has been underrepresented at County Council level. I believe it’s time for change. Like many residents, I care passionately about Canvey and want to see it thrive once again.

Representation will get Canvey a long way. With me, you will have someone not just turning up but actively advocating for you on Essex County Council.

My priorities are to improve our roads, stop excessive housing development, protect vital services, and stand up for Canvey residents.
