On Monday, Dame Rebecca Harris MP attended the official opening of the newly refurbished prep room at CISCA House, kindly funded by the London Gateway Freeport Community Investment Fund.

The new space will help CISCA prepare food and expand the vital support they provide each week for local residents aged 55 and over. From food support to wellbeing sessions and community activities, they are a real lifeline for many older people on the island.

Rebecca said, "A big thank you to the trustees, volunteers and everyone who helped fund and deliver this project. It is a brilliant example of our community coming together to make a big difference."
