Castle Point MP Rebecca Harris has welcomed the opening of the next round of Regional Growth Fund applications. £350 million has been made available from the Fund, set up by the Government, to help businesses grow and kick start the economy.
A total of £2.6 billion has already been invested in businesses across the country.
The fund has already had a huge effect across the East of England, with £339 million already invested in local businesses, supporting65,095 jobs.
Mrs Harris commented:
“I want to encourage all businesses in Castle Point to take advantage of this next round of investment from the Regional Growth Fund. The £350 million of investment will really help businesses grow and could support thousands of new jobs, which would be great news for our local economy.
