Cllr Simon Hart tells us "At our Forum meeting in Hadleigh we received complaints about the centre road island being dirty with road grime and some of the lights inside not illuminating the bollards on the A13 from the Southend border through Hadleigh and down the Rayleigh Road to the Weir . we were able to get the Castle Points Highway rangers to clean them and also inspect them for functionality as this is a safety issue that gets worse after midnight and any found faulty have been reported to Essex County Council for repair.
