Canvey resident, Lydia Parkin has hit out at fly tippers who have dumped hundreds of tyres outside Lubbins School at Canvey Seafront.

Lydia explains “This is the fifth time that tyres have been left at the same spot. Somebody, somewhere must know who is behind this mindless vandalism of an attractive part of the seafront. At a time where proposed fire cuts are in the news it is scary to think of the damage that could be caused if they were set alight”

Lydia, who is standing as the Conservative Party candidate for Canvey East ward in May has continuously campaigned for more civic pride to protect public beauty spots around the Island.
