Castle Point MP Rebecca Harris has called for people to nominate those who have recently gone beyond their ‘personal best’ for our community to carry the Olympic torch when it visits Essex on the 6th July next year on the way to the Olympic Park.

Rebecca Harris said: “There are many people in Castle Point who embody the Olympic values of courage, determination and inspiration .I would encourage everyone to nominate either an inspirational young person, or veteran volunteer, who has recently gone beyond their ‘personal best’ for our community for this once in a lifetime opportunity”
