Over the weekend, Rebecca visited the Kings Park Summer Social and Community Fayre.
Rebecca was also invited to say a few words in support of Together Home Care’s work to make Canvey Island a more dementia inclusive community.
The event brought residents, families and local organisations together to support the cause.
Rebecca promoted raising awareness of dementia and supporting those living with it, along with their families and carers, saying that it "is something we should all get behind."
After the event, she congratulated Louise Hogan Norris, Sharon Pointer and everyone at Together Home Care for organising such a successful event and beginning their journey towards Inclusive Dementia Community accreditation.
Afterwards, Rebecca commented: "Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the day and helped raise money for local dementia charities."
