The Mayor, Deputy Mayor and The Freeman of the Borough observed the 2 minute silence at 11am yesterday, for the NHS Frontline and Social Care Workers Day.
July 5th 1948 was an historic moment in our country’s history. It was the day our pioneering National Health Service (NHS) was born, bringing free healthcare to everyone.
The flag was raised at 10am is seen flying proudly to mark the occasion. #ThankYouNHS
