The Mayor of Castle Point, Cllr Pat Haunts marked Armistice Day by joining the Thundersley community at the Hart Road Memorial at 11am this morning for a service administered by the St Peter’s Reverend, Andrew Hudson & Thundersley Congregational Church Minister, David Pickett.
Benfleet Cllr, Clive Walter tells Thundersley Village readers “I attended St Peter’s Church this morning along with fellow Cllrs Colin Riley and Sue Mumford where we enjoyed the spectacle of a very large number of scouts from many local troops participating in Remembrance Day then to attend the service afterwards and to catch up with the Reverend Andrew Hudson and his wife on the eve of him starting his fifth year at St Peter’s. A very pleasant morning which highlighted all that is good within our Borough.”
