Our St Peter’s ward candidate, Michael Dixon has a proud record of volunteering within Thundersley to make a positive difference to our wider community. From Marie Curie fundraising, cleaning the South Benfleet Youth clubhouse, slowing down speeding motorists as part of Speedwatch to collecting donations for a refuge and litterpicking with his family he really demonstrates that community matters to Michael and his young family. What a great addition to the Council he would be.
We asked some of our Thundersley Councillor team why St Peter’s ward residents should come out and vote for Michael Dixon on Thursday 24th February. Here is what they told us.
Leader of Castle Point Borough Council, Councillor Andrew Sheldon commented:
"Over the next few years all councils are going to be facing massive financial challenges and it's important they get as much value as possible out of taxpayer money."
"Michael's experience running and growing a successful family business means he knows the importance of value for money and proper financial planning. He will be a real asset to the Council in the uncertain times ahead".
Nobody could say that our St Peter’s ward candidate, Michael Dixon hasn’t worked hard to prove how effective he would be representing our community at the Council. Michael has knocked hundreds of doors in the ward meeting residents and explaining his plan of action. What a great Councillor he will be with your support.
