It was an absolute pleasure to help welcome HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, to East Haven Coastwatch Station on Canvey Island today.

Excellent to see Canvey Town Centre packed for the Christmas light switch on and Christmas fair yesterday. Father Christmas even stopped by with his reindeer, as did a beautiful vintage fire engine!

What the Autumn Statement means for you…

It was the first Christmas Fair of the season in Thundersley on Saturday hosted by the 5th Thundersley Scouts Group at St George’s Church Hall.

People were queuing out the door when I arrived and with all the excellent games and stalls inside I can see why.

I attended a very special event yesterday, the official opening of a brand new teaching and activity block at Cedar Hall School.

It’s wonderful to see so many beautiful knitted poppy decorations around our Borough.

Yesterday on behalf of the constituency and people of Castle Point, I laid a symbol of remembrance on the memorial garden set out in New Palace Yard at the Houses of Parliament.
